How are Trade Ideas different than Trade Alerts? Whenever you see a trade idea, know that Maya has already submitted an order to the brokerage for that trade. Whether the brokerage is able to fill that order or not is not in Maya's control. But that gives you visibility on what Maya is doing behind the scenes. Trade alerts on the other hand are sent out only when Maya gets a fill on its brokerage order. Also, there could be times when Maya runs out of funds for a particular week and it will stop taking trades because of that. It could also become conservative about the markets when VIX is high and that can also result in less or no trades for weeks. During these times the trade ideas really come in handy because it will still show you what trades Maya would have picked up if it was actively trading.
