4. How Maya Works
Maya is our proprietary algorithmic trading system, designed for transparency and education. The system is fully rules-based and operates on two accounts simultaneously: a live trading account for real market execution and a paper trading account for consistency, compliance, and educational reference.
Maya is fully market-aware and designed to quickly adapt to changing market conditions. The algorithm continuously evaluates a host of variables including technical indicators, the VIX (volatility index), market depth, and sudden shifts in market direction. Based on these inputs, Maya constantly adjusts its exposure to the market β increasing or reducing risk as conditions evolve.
We provide complete transparency through system documentation, entry and exit logic explanations, backtesting methodology, and real-time alerts synchronized with account execution.
Our paper trading approach ensures educational consistency, broker neutrality, and clear auditability while allowing users to learn risk-free.
Trade Types
Maya exclusively trades at-the-money bull call spreads (debit spreads). These are bullish options strategies with defined maximum risk at entry, which aligns with Maya's goal of aggressive, controlled account growth. Maya does not trade bearish strategies such as Bear Put Spreads β extensive backtesting has shown that bearish strategies negatively impact win rate over the long run. Instead, Maya limits downside through aggressive trade management rules.
Maya trades a mix of $1-wide spreads (lower risk, suitable for smaller accounts) and $5-wide spreads (higher risk/reward). This is not daytrading. Maya holds positions for 30 to 40 days β a swing-trading approach based on 9-month daily charts and technical analysis principles. Users are not required to monitor markets intraday; entry and exit alerts are delivered via email and SMS.
Entry Logic
Maya's entries are fully rules-based with clearly defined criteria. The system uses technical analysis and market pattern recognition to identify high-probability trading opportunities. Trades are initiated only when specific conditions are met according to the algorithm's predefined rules β there is no manual discretion. Entry alerts are sent to subscribers in real time when Maya opens a position in its paper trading account.
Exit Logic
Exits follow a structured, rules-driven trade management flowchart. The algorithm evaluates positions based on profit targets, risk thresholds, and market conditions. When an exit rule is triggered, Maya notifies users of the specific rule that was triggered and the reason behind it, based on our publicly shared trade management flowchart. This gives users full visibility into the exit decision without any element of discretion.
5. Account Registration and Security
You are responsible for providing accurate and complete registration information, maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, all activities that occur under your account, and notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use.
6. Subscriptions and Payments
π Recurring Subscription Agreement: By purchasing any of our subscriptions, you are entering into a recurring subscription agreement. You must actively cancel before your next billing date to avoid being charged for the next billing cycle.
Payment Authorization: By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method for all applicable fees. Payment is processed securely through third-party providers such as Stripe. Electronic receipts are available upon request.
Subscription fees are subject to change with advance notice. Failed payments may result in suspension of access until resolved.
7. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancelling Your Subscription: You may cancel your subscription at any time directly through the website. To cancel, click your profile icon in the top right corner, go to Settings β Subscription, and follow the cancellation steps. Cancellation is fully self-service and no support contact is required.
β Continued Access After Cancellation: When you cancel your subscription, you will continue to enjoy full access to all features and services until the end of your current billing cycle. We encourage you to cancel as soon as you decide not to continue, rather than waiting until the last moment, to avoid forgetting and being charged for the next cycle.
The cancellation will become effective at the end of your current billing period.
π« No Refunds: All subscription fees are final and non-refundable. Once you gain access to our digital content and services, the service has been rendered. We have no way of tracking your usage of our services and hence, we do not offer refunds based on claims of unused services or periods. This means that if you do not actively cancel your subscription before the end of your current billing cycle, you will be charged for the next cycle, regardless of your usage of our services.
Refunds will not be issued for any reason, including but not limited to: dissatisfaction with the service, failure to cancel before renewal, lack of trading expertise, forgotten cancellation, inability to use the service, technical difficulties on your end, change of mind, mistaken purchase, or any other circumstance.
Chargeback Waiver: By subscribing to TradeWithMaya, you expressly waive the right to initiate chargebacks, payment disputes, or reversals through your bank, credit card provider, or payment processor. Any disputes regarding payments must be resolved directly with TradeWithMaya by contacting support@tradewithmaya.com and following the Dispute Resolution process outlined in Section 17.
Unauthorized Chargebacks: Initiating an unauthorized chargeback will be considered a material breach of this Agreement and may be treated as fraudulent activity. TradeWithMaya reserves the right to:
(1) Pursue legal action, including debt collection or arbitration, to recover disputed amounts, associated legal costs, and any damages resulting from the fraudulent chargeback;
(2) Report the incident to all three credit reporting agencies or to any entity for inclusion in any chargeback database or for listing as a delinquent account, which could have a negative impact on your credit report score. The information reported will include your name, email address, order date, order amount, and billing address;
(3) Permanently suspend your access to all TradeWithMaya services;
(4) Pursue any other legal remedies available.
Chargeback abusers wishing to be removed from the database shall make full payment for the amount of the chargeback plus any associated fees and legal costs.
Billing Errors: If you believe you have been charged in error (duplicate charges, incorrect amount, or charges after proper cancellation confirmation), you must contact support@tradewithmaya.com within 30 days of the charge. We will investigate and resolve legitimate billing errors promptly. Billing error disputes must be raised BEFORE initiating any chargeback with your payment provider.
8. User Conduct
You agree not to reverse engineer, hack, or attempt to compromise the Service; use bots, scrapers, or automated tools without authorization; copy, redistribute, or resell content, alerts, or signals; share account credentials; violate applicable laws; harass others; or attempt to disrupt our systems.

10. Important Disclaimers
Not Investment Advice
TradeWithMaya LLC is not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, commodity trading advisor, or financial institution under the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, Securities Exchange Act of 1934, Commodity Exchange Act, or any state securities laws.
We operate as an educational signal provider. All trade alerts, signals, content, and communications are for educational and informational purposes only and do not constitute personalized investment advice.
Our team members are not licensed securities professionals or registered investment advisers. We do not provide personalized investment recommendations, manage client investment portfolios or accounts, act as a fiduciary to users, offer securities for sale, or provide financial planning services.
You are solely responsible for evaluating whether any signal or strategy is appropriate for your situation. Always consult a qualified, licensed financial advisor before making investment decisions.
No Fiduciary Duty
TradeWithMaya does not owe you a fiduciary duty. Our relationship with you is solely as a provider of general trading signals and educational content.
11. PeakBot Automated Trading Partnership
TradeWithMaya partners with PeakBot, an independent third-party technology platform, to enable automated trade execution. PeakBot is a separate legal entity not owned, operated, or controlled by TradeWithMaya.
How It Works
The service operates through a three-party structure:
TradeWithMaya β PeakBot β Your Broker
Signal Provider β’ Order Placement β’ Trade Execution
Key Distinctions
TradeWithMaya sends signals: We transmit general trading signals to PeakBot's technology platform. These signals are the same for all subscribers and are not personalized to your individual circumstances.
You authorize PeakBot: You grant discretionary trading authority to PeakBot (an independent platform), not to TradeWithMaya. You connect your brokerage account to PeakBot's platform and control whether automated execution is enabled.
PeakBot submits orders to your brokerage: PeakBot's platform submits opening and closing orders to your connected brokerage account on your behalf. Your brokerage receives and executes those orders. PeakBot does not execute trades itself, nor does it hold, custody, or manage your funds or positions.
What TradeWithMaya Does Not Do
TradeWithMaya never executes trades in your brokerage account, has access to your brokerage account, holds discretionary trading authority over your account, directs your broker to execute trades, manages your account balance or positions, or has any control over PeakBot's platform or execution.
Separate Terms Apply
Your use of PeakBot's platform is governed by PeakBot's separate Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Disclaimer. You must independently review and agree to PeakBot's terms. PeakBot platform access is included with your TradeWithMaya subscription at no additional costβyou pay only your TradeWithMaya subscription fee.
TradeWithMaya is not responsible for PeakBot's platform functionality, trade execution quality, data security, customer service, or any disputes between you and PeakBot or your broker.
Other Third-Party Services
We may also provide options to transmit alerts to other third-party auto-trading services. Use of any third-party services is at your own risk, and we accept no liability for their performance or any resulting losses.
12. Risk Disclosures
Options Trading Risks
Options trading involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for all investors. You acknowledge and understand that you could lose some or all of your invested capital; past performance is not indicative of future results; no trading system or strategy can guarantee profits; market conditions can change rapidly; leverage can amplify both gains and losses; and transaction costs can impact returns.
You should only trade with money you can afford to lose entirely.
Algorithmic Trading Risks
Our platform utilizes algorithmic strategies. Additional risks include software errors, delayed or incorrect market data, connectivity issues, broker API failures, market volatility, and execution differences.
Automated Trading Risks
Automated trading through third-party platforms like PeakBot carries additional risks including technology failures, rapid losses without manual intervention, unfavorable execution prices, over-trading, cascade effects, market gaps, and broker restrictions.
We strongly recommend using paper trading to learn without risking real capital.
13. Third-Party Links
Our Service may contain links to third-party websites or services. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of third-party sites. You access third-party content at your own risk.
14. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that it will meet your requirements.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TradeWithMaya LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
This includes but is not limited to trading losses, loss of profits or data, missed opportunities, poor execution, margin calls, signal errors, PeakBot platform issues, third-party service failures, broker-related issues, or technical problems.
In no event shall TradeWithMaya's total liability to you exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to liability.
16. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless TradeWithMaya LLC and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, your trading activities, your violation of third-party rights, or any content you submit.
17. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration
π§ Required Pre-Dispute Communication: Before initiating any dispute resolution process (including chargebacks, arbitration, or legal action), you MUST first contact us at support@tradewithmaya.com and allow us at least 30 days to address your concern. Most issues can be resolved quickly through direct communication. Failure to comply with this requirement may result in dismissal of your claim and liability for our costs and attorney's fees.
Binding Arbitration: Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service that cannot be resolved through the pre-dispute communication process shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association in accordance with its Commercial Arbitration Rules.
Arbitration shall take place in Austin, Texas, or via telephone/video conference. The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding.
Either party may seek injunctive relief in court for intellectual property violations.
Chargeback Prohibition: By agreeing to these Terms, you acknowledge that filing an unauthorized chargeback or payment dispute without first exhausting the pre-dispute communication process outlined above is strictly prohibited and will be treated as fraudulent activity. If you file an unauthorized chargeback:
- Your account will be immediately suspended
- You will be reported to credit bureaus as having engaged in fraudulent activity
- Your information will be added to merchant chargeback databases, which may affect your ability to make purchases with other online merchants
- You may be liable for the disputed amount, administrative fees, legal costs, and attorney's fees
- We reserve the right to pursue legal action for fraud and breach of contract
We take chargebacks very seriously and will vigorously defend against all unauthorized disputes. Please contact us first if you have any billing concerns - we are here to help resolve issues fairly and quickly.
18. Class Action Waiver
You agree that any claims must be brought in your individual capacity and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, or representative proceeding. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
19. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.
Provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification.
20. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. For material changes, we may provide additional notice via email or site notification.
Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
21. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
22. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
Subject to the arbitration provisions above, any legal action must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas.
